1. Data Minimization and Local Storage
As a security-focused tool, MeVault prioritizes your privacy. MeVault is a local utility application. All video files are stored locally on your device's storage. We do not provide any cloud synchronization or online backup services; therefore, we cannot access, collect, or leak your personal video content. We do not read or store specific files (photos, videos, or documents) saved in your “Vault” on our servers. Your local data remains encrypted on your device.
2. Information Collected
Personal Information: We do not require account registration for basic functions. If you subscribe, transaction data is handled by Apple. We may collect:
- Usage Data: Diagnostic data and interaction patterns to improve App performance.
- Account Info: If you contact support, we store your email to resolve your query.
Non-Personal Information:
- Device model, OS version, and language settings.
- Crash logs (to identify technical bugs).
Cookies We use cookies to identify your device and "remember" things about your visit to improve user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser or device settings.
3.Third-Party Advertising
We may display advertisements within the App provided by our third-party advertising partners. These partners may collect certain device-level information to serve and personalize ads, including: Device Identifiers (such as IDFA, only collected with your explicit consent via the iOS ATT prompt), Technical Data (device model, connection type), and Interaction Data (ad views and clicks). This data is used solely to provide and measure the effectiveness of advertisements. You can manage these permissions at any time via your iOS System Settings > Privacy > Tracking.
4. Account and Data Deletion
In compliance with Apple's requirements, you may delete your data or account at any time within the App settings. Once deleted, encrypted data cannot be recovered by Us.
5. Children’s Privacy
MeVault does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
